Studio View Jigsaw Puzzle - 500 Pieces

Studio View was created while at a residency in Los Angeles. It was inspired by both the space I was living in while there and the studio spaces that I and other artists were occupying while there. There are also references to artists whose work I was studying at the time hidden throughout. The palette was inspired by the warm and vibrant colors that saturate LA. While it's a painting, it can be thought of as a collage as its composition was pieced together from many different places, taking elements and objects, and envisioning them in a reinvented space.
